Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Stratafound Platform Works handles personal information when you browse this site, contact us or work with us. It is written for this fictional consultancy and is intended to describe our approach in plain English.
Effective date: 29 October 2026
Who is responsible for your information?
Stratafound Platform Works is responsible for personal information described in this policy. Our contact route is hello@stratafound.example. You can also write to 30 Lyttelton Street DERBY - DE22 3FD United Kingdom (GB).
Information we collect
When you make an enquiry, we collect the name, work email, organisation, role, project type, estimated timeline, message and consent information you provide. If you submit a support request, we collect your name, organisation, email, service area, severity, subject and issue description. We may also receive information you choose to share in correspondence or during an engagement.
When you visit this website, the hosting and security systems may process technical information such as browser type, device details, approximate network information and requested pages to deliver and protect the site. Do not include passwords, private keys, payment details or unnecessary sensitive personal information in website forms.
How we use enquiry and support information
We use enquiry details to respond, assess whether we can help, arrange a conversation and keep a record of the conversation. Support details are used to triage and respond to client requests, coordinate work and maintain an appropriate service history. Information may also be used to meet legal obligations, protect our systems and establish or defend legal claims.
Lawful grounds and sharing
Where data protection law applies, we rely on steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business, consent where we ask for it, and legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. We may share the minimum necessary information with trusted hosting, communications or business service providers acting on our instructions, and with professional advisers or authorities where legally required. Service providers must protect information under appropriate terms.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not intentionally set advertising cookies. Essential technical storage may be used to deliver the site, protect forms or remember a necessary preference. If optional analytics are introduced, they will be configured and disclosed before use where required, and consent will be requested when the law requires it. We do not claim to use a particular analytics service. Your browser can control or block cookies, though some site functions may then be unavailable.
How long information is kept
We keep an enquiry record for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact if no engagement follows. Client and support records are retained for the engagement and then for up to seven years where needed for contractual, accounting, regulatory or legal purposes. Technical security logs are normally kept for no longer than 90 days. We may retain information longer when a legal hold or active claim requires it; otherwise we securely delete or anonymise it.
Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information and service. Internet transmission is not risk-free, so please do not send secrets through a general enquiry form. If a service provider processes information outside the United Kingdom, we will use an appropriate transfer mechanism and safeguards where required by law.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, request restriction or portability, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. These rights are subject to legal conditions. Contact us at hello@stratafound.example and tell us what you need. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you believe your information has been handled unlawfully.
Children and changes to this policy
This website and our services are intended for business users and are not directed to children. We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is made.
